7-Eleven x what3words

Partnering with one of the most distinctive and iconic convenience brands in the world to create a uniform and cohesive set of assets across all brand touchpoints.

  • The adoption of what3words came from 7-Elven Vietnam, but because we have full license of the 7-Eleven brand, it gave us the creative freedom to make something that really reflected the brand.

    Along with a branded callout, a new-form short explainer launch video was also needed to showcase how what3words is used within the 7-Eleven app.

  • We decided to go bold on the colour to really emphasise the brand experience, utilising the multiple colours to create a first of its kind multi-coloured 3 meter square.

    Within the film, we took the shape of the ‘7’ to create a seamless transition which showcases movement and direction.

  • Distributed through our PR channels and social channels, securing over 10k+ impressions and engagements within the first week of launch.

  • Further explainers where created through the medium of push notifications, in-app creatives and newsletters that were directed at Vietnam users of the what3words app.

    Along with social success, what3words sort out an opportunity to do multiple magazine ads within Vietnam’s largest business magazine VnEconomy (Kinh tế Việt Nam) to which its partnership with 7-Eleven was mentioned.
